Chiew Larn overnight lake experience

Planning

Day 1

• Pick-up from your Khao Sok hotel at around 08:30, or from Khao Lak at around 08:30. Meet your French-speaking guide and minivan driver for a programme run in a small group (max. 8 people).
• Your adventure begins with a visit to Ban Nam Rad, its natural pool and crystal-clear waters. You will then make your way to Chiew Larn Lake, with a stop at the dam viewpoint to take in the magnificent scenery, before setting off by traditional longtail boat to admire the incredible karst formations.
• You will visit the Diamond Cave and stop for an unmissable photo of the “3 Rocks”, the emblem of Chiew Larn Lake. Lunch will be served at the floating complex, followed by check-in to your bungalow.
• Free time to relax, swim, or kayak on the lake. As the day draws to a close, board for a boat safari to observe animals searching for their last meal before nightfall.
• Dinner at the floating complex, then overnight in your superior comfort floating bungalow (air conditioning from 18:00 to 06:00).

Day 2

• Watch the sunrise from your bungalow, enjoy this restful view surrounded by jungle and karst cliffs, and with a bit of luck, the sound of gibbons in the background.
• Breakfast and check-out from your floating bungalow. Return to the pier by traditional boat and transfer back towards Khao Sok.
• Meet our protected elephants in the jungle, feed them and give them a bath. Enjoy the view from the Khao Sok viewpoint and discover one of the oldest rainforests in the world.
• Cook a traditional dish with our local chef and enjoy your lunch in the heart of lush nature. Then cruise along the Sok River on a bamboo raft (with paddler) and discover an incredible jungle; taste our local coffee, observe wild long-tailed macaques.
• At around 16:00, transfer to your hotel (if Khao Lak for example, transfer included in the price).
